Hello to all of you,

During several conversations I heard that a lot of you are still thinking to join us on Tenerife.

Time is running short as our option for certain rooms in the Mar y Sol hotel runs out shortly.

Several categories are nearly fully booked.

The flights are getting more expensive … and there really isn’t a reason to wait any longer.

So, to ALL indecisive people interested in Tenerife … hurry to register! The countdown is ticking.

In case there are women, both of the indecisive or already booked group, who need local “female” assistance, we might have a solution for you.

There are women who would love to be personal assistants for other women under the condition that the chemistry is right.

The hours needed, amount per hour, how to pay (“Verhinderungspflege” (short term care in case the regular caregiver is not available), Gruenenthal trust etc.) have to be agreed upon individually.

Dear all,

We hope, everybody “arrived” well in the New Year and we all have a good, exciting and healthy year!!!

First we would like to thank Maria Bergner-Willig for translating our invitation to a meeting in Tenerife this year!!!

Before, during and after the Rehacare 2018 we have been asked by a really big lot of people if we plan to go to Tenerife the next year we happily announce the date of out next Tenerife meeting from July 20th to 27th, 2019, in the Hotel Mar Y Sol (https://www.marysol.org/?lang=en). We hope that a lot of you are able to join us.

At the moment we have just started to plan.

Please, do not hesitate to tell us any idea you have regarding activities or workshops we could offer. We need your input!!!



Probably we will fix two days during that weeks on which excursions for all will be offered. What, how, when, where to …??? We are still planning!

Any ideas or wishes? If yes, please let us know. We’d appreciate it. That makes the planning easier for us.


We got the feedback from some of the participants that during our last come together there were too many choices for some of us. That’s why we will change that for the next year.

Please tell us what you would like to do; what you are interested in; what you need …

We will check and see if and what it is doable in which way.


The application process will be changed slightly.

Please book DIRECTLY with the hotel! Everybody is free to stay more days than the actual meeting, of course (before or after the meeting).

If you prefer a different hotel, please organise that yourself either via a travel agent or by using the internet.

Sign language interpreters as well as helpers for example for help at the buffets will be on location, of course.

We need a deposit as a contribution towards expenses of € 100.00 from each of you to organise necessities like assistance and sign language interpreters

As soon as you have booked your accommodation please email Barbara with the information that you are coming and where you will stay. She will send you a request for payment of € 100.00 per person including the bank account information.

The following types of room we offer you (until the 12.4.19):

The prize is per unit and night, half pension included (Half board includes breakfast buffet & dinner buffet. Supplement for full board: 9,50 € per adult and day, 4,75 € per child (7-14 years) and day), TV and Internet included for 1 device):

Everybody has to reserve and pay before the 12.04.19. Afterwards the hotel option on those rooms expire.

As there are the numbers of some room types restricted, we advice to book soon.

We would like to inform you about our cancellation policy:

 For group reservations of 12 persons and more, cancellations are only free of charge if the cancellation is made 90 days before the day of arrival.

 Cancellation between 89 and 60 days before the day of arrival:

10% of the total amount

 Cancellation between 59 and 30 days before the day of arrival:

50% of the total amount

 Cancellation between 29 and 15 days before the day of arrival:

75% of the total amount

 Cancellation 14 day or less before the day of arrival:

100% of the total amount

We recommend you to obtain a travel health insurance to ensure full medical protection during your holiday. For the case you have to cancel or end your holiday prematurely you should also obtain a cancellation and holiday interruption insurance.
